NEW ORLEANS – Emeril Lagasse Foundation announces dates for its 2017 signature events – Boudin, Bourbon & Beer and Carnivale du Vin. Boudin, Bourbon & Beer will return to Champions Square on Friday, Nov. 3, followed by nationally recognized charity wine auction and gala Carnivale du Vin at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans on Saturday, Nov. 4.
The kick-off to the Foundation’s "two nights, one cause" fundraising weekend, Boudin, Bourbon & Beer is one of the region’s premier outdoor food and music festivals. Last year, nearly 5,000 people attended the South’s biggest boudin bash to savor creative dishes and hand-crafted spirits from more than 60 of the country’s best chefs.
Selected as a 2016 “Top 10 U.S. Charity Wine Auction” by Wine Spectator Magazine, the Foundation’s black-tie gala Carnivale du Vin will once again showcase the very best in food, wine and entertainment while raising millions for children’s charities. Last year’s fundraising weekend raised more than $3 million for the Foundation’s local and regional beneficiaries.
Information about this year’s featured chefs, entertainment lineup and sponsors will be announced in the coming months, and early-bird tickets to Boudin, Bourbon & Beer 2017 will go on sale on July 7, 2017. For more information, visit BoudinBourbonandBeer.com and CarnivaleDuVin.com.
