As the Emerald Coast's premier no-kill refuge, Alaqua provides protection, shelter and care to animals in need. Alaqua has a variety of educational outreach & community programs which promote personal growth in children with developmental needs.

For 60 years Arc Broward has been a catalyst for transformation by changing how people with developmental disabilities are included, enabling them to live, learn, work and play in their communities.

In January 2017, The Dan Marino Foundation opened the second Marino Campus at Florida International University, Modesto A. Maidique Campus, which features a curriculum designed to build the necessary skills for gainful, competitive employment, social competence and independent living.

Second Harvest’s Summer Feeding and Kids Cafe Programs provide meals to hungry, low-income children when school meals are not available for those most in need in our community.

For 30 years, Covenant House has met the needs of homeless and opportunity youth (ages 16-22) and their children in the New Orleans area, helping more than 30,000 kids off of the streets to achieve stability and either reunite with family or build the skills and resources needed for independent living.

CVHN provides free medical, dental, vision and specialist health care for uninsured and underinsured children in Okaloosa and Walton County Florida.
