Celebrating Leadership: Promotions at Emeril Lagasse Foundation

At Emeril Lagasse Foundation, we empower youth through culinary, nutrition, and arts education, life skills development, and ensuring that children’s basic needs are met. Today, we proudly celebrate the promotion of three team members who have shaped our programs and advanced our mission.

Katie Mularz has been promoted to Chief Impact Officer. Since joining the Foundation in 2016, Katie has been a driving force behind the success of our core initiatives, leading the launch of our signature program, Emeril’s Culinary Garden & Teaching Kitchen, and expanding the scope of our programs to maximize impact. Her strategic leadership has been vital in shaping initiatives that provide meaningful support to youth and communities nationwide. In her new role, Katie will further amplify the Foundation’s reach, overseeing our grants, programs, and communications to deepen our impact on young people’s lives. Her visionary approach and commitment to transformative change make her an essential part of our leadership team and the future of our mission.

Celeste Baer has been promoted to Chief Advancement Officer. She joined the Foundation in 2017 and has been instrumental in elevating our signature fundraising events. Her strategic leadership has helped forge strong partnerships and deepen donor relationships, which have been key to our ongoing success. In her new role, Celeste will expand the Foundation’s advancement efforts – building lasting partnerships to sustain and grow our programs. Her unwavering commitment to our mission and her ability to inspire generosity make her an invaluable part of our leadership team.

Sarah Montgomery, who began her journey with the Foundation as an intern in 2016, has been promoted to Director of Events. Over the years, Sarah has played a fundamental role in planning and executing our annual fundraising events, helping to bring the Foundation’s mission to life in every detail. Her creativity and logistical expertise ensure that each event reflects the Foundation’s values while offering memorable experiences for our supporters. As Director of Events, Sarah will continue to lead the planning and execution of our major events, providing exceptional leadership to create impactful gatherings that celebrate and further our mission.
