Jamia Steptore

Director of Accounting & Administration

Jamia Steptore joined Emeril Lagasse Foundation as accounting manager and has since been promoted to director of accounting & administration, bringing with her a passion for community support and youth success. A New Orleans native, she is a graduate of Ben Franklin High School and went on to earn her undergraduate degree in accounting from LSU and her MBA from the University of New Orleans. Before joining the foundation, she has worked with youth, in the hospitality industry, and most recently within the higher education sector. Jamia has volunteered for various causes including spending time in Costa Rica. Outside of work, you can find find Jamia collaborating on new and creative ways to educate others on financial literacy.
