Paul Frank
After a gratifying 25 year career in the gem business where Paul headed-up many of the jewelry industry service associations, Paul and Suzie, his wife of 56 years, decided to follow their dreams and settle on an idyllic vineyard in the Napa Valley, aided by Paul’s long-time interest in wine, viticulture and vineyard geology. His introduction of a unique vineyard design and rare clones of Bordeaux varietals led to their inaugural bottling of Gemstone wine in 1997, which sold-out on release. Gemstone became one of the most celebrated and highly-rated wines of Napa Valley. Gemstone was acquired by Carole and Michael Marks in 2008 who continue to produce amazing Gemstone wines. Suzie and Paul enjoy their home in Napa, where they work in their new Glass Slipper Vineyard in Napa.
As a director of the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, Paul says he draws his inspiration from the dedication and hard work of Chef Emeril and his tireless commitment to the youth of America. Previously, Paul has served as a founding Director of both the Jewelry Circle of the City of Hope Medical Center and the jewelry panel of the Los Angeles Natural History Museum.
