We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on our Line, Vine & Dine event beneficiaries: Arc Broward and the Dan Marino Foundation. Arc Broward and the Dan Marino Foundation empower individuals with unique talents and abilities. At the heart of their work lies a shared vision of fostering growth, independence, and inclusivity. At this year’s Line, Vine & Dine, we were honored to hear from David Snyder, a graduate of Arc Culinary, and Michael Marino, whose journey with the Dan Marino Foundation serves as both inspiration and testament to the power of support and opportunity.

David shared with our guests his journey of resilience. After losing his parents, David found solace and opportunity at Arc Broward, enrolling in their workforce development program, Arc Culinary. It was in our very own Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen at Arc Broward where David acquired the skills that paved the way for his employment in the industry. He expressed profound gratitude for the chance he was given.

Michael Marino, whose journey inspired the creation of the Dan Marino Foundation, also shared his story. His family noticed there weren’t enough services for children with autism in the region, and so they created their own! Through the support of Emeril Lagasse Foundation, countless individuals in South Florida, like Michael, have been propelled forward.

Their stories illustrate the transformative potential rooted within the programs we support.
