Celeste Landry Baer
Chief Advancement Officer
Celeste is thrilled to be a part of a foundation that works to enable and mentor youth through culinary, specifically in New Orleans. Celeste is proud to have grown up along the bayous in Lafourche Parish. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University as well as the Culinary Institute LeNotre in Houston. She followed her passion in food wellness by receiving a certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner as well as the Cookbook Project’s Food Literacy Educator. Celeste was the founder of Bayou Baby Bites, a locally sourced line of baby purees and has been featured in New Orleans Entrepreneur Week’s The Big Idea as well as the winner of the NOLA Made pitch competition and was a finalist in Propeller’s Living Well competition. Before joining the Foundation, Celeste worked for Chef John Folse as his media chef then moved on to work for several restaurant groups, casinos and most recently a pasture-raised butcher turned grocery startup. Outside the office, you might find Celeste sipping a glass of Beaujolais on her back porch, running through City Park with her two rescue pups, or checking out the latest farmer’s market with her husband Andrew and two children.
